SATURDAY 28th September 2019
From 10am, last cards 3:15pm.
We had a great review from a very happy shot this week, having just shot the Olivia Tullett shoot!:
Shot this last week and cannot recommend it enough. Demanding and fantastic fun. It is not just the usual "game sim" set up where they put on a few flurries and name traps with a quarry species. You don`t load the gun and call "Pull". As well as a few more regular "pairs", there is a driven flurry and a grouse sequence which is really handy for practicing loading quickly and under pressure. The "jewel in the crown" is the walked-up section - much more demanding and realistic than last year`s set up (which was good anyway).
So if you want a good work out and warm-up for the coming game season, or if you just shoot clays and want to try something a little different - and less predictable ;) - this is well worth a "shot". We`re back for another go this weekend :)
See PDF below for the results from University Championships 2019, held on 20th March 2019:
Congratulations to everyone who took part, and congratulations to our winners!
