Young shots & young beginners
We are experienced at providing a friendly environment to try shooting sports for the first time. If you'd like to become a "young shot", and try shooting for the first time we'll be happy to show you what it's all about.
For the young newcomer
Bored? Why not try a country sport? Our "Beginners' Days" give a taster of clay-shooting, archery and air-rifle shooting.
Your day will start at 9:30am with an introduction to shooting by one of our instructors. You will then experience half a day clay shooting (with refreshment break), lunch will be at approx. 1pm, with an educational video which will be followed by an afternoon of archery and air rifle shooting. The day will finish around 5pm.
All welcome - open to ages 12 to 21
The Schools Challenge - shooting competition
We've been running The Schools Challenge for a couple of years - if you're part of a school shooting club or team, why not come and join us for a great day competing with other schools.

Young Shots Day
This day will be aimed at young shots that are at a competent level but want to improve.
Your day will start at about 9:30am with a brief introduction in the shop you will then shoot through the morning (with a refreshment break). Lunch will be at 1pm, with an educational video, followed by an afternoon of more challenging targets. Throughout the course we will work on improving your gun mounting, basic technique and different ways to hit those targets that get away!
The day will end around 4.30pm.
