The Shooting School - Expert Coaching
Our award winning shooting school provides everything that shots of any level and experience could need, from the first-time-shot through to the experienced shot looking to brush-up on their skills for the shooting season - and all this in a relaxed environment with friendly & experienced coaches.
The shooting ground itself has been laid out on the banks of a brook which meanders through the middle of the farm.
Many of the shooting stands are reached by crossing rustic bridges which span the brook.
The all-weather stands have been carefully designed to encourage the beginner or to provide a serious challenge to the experienced shot.
Doug Florent and our other experienced instructors are available to give expert, patient tuition to everyone, from those just starting in this fascinating sport to serious shots needing constant appraisal of their technique to maintain their form. As an individual, or as a member of a small group we can provide you with the best instruction, assessment and development.

One-to-One instruction
Instruction by the hour, from experienced shooting instructors, for both clay and game shots.
In the comfort of our all-weather stands, we specialise in sorting out recurring problems.
From Mon to Fri ONLY (per hour) - £ 69 + c&c*
On Saturdays (per hour) - £ 75 + c&c*
One Day Courses
A full day's instruction with one of the country's most experienced shooting instructors, catering for the novice to the experienced shot. The instructor will gear the day to the requirements of each person. The day will start with the group having a brief talk on gun handling and gun safety.
This will be followed by a day's intensive shooting instruction, tailored to the experience of the individual. The day is for parties but we are also happy to accept individual bookings to make a group up. Now with our all-weather stands shooting can be enjoyed whatever the weather, all year round.
The cost of the day includes the hire of a gun if required, cartridges, clays and lunch at the pub!

Masters Course
A full day's shooting course designed for the more experienced shooter
who has reached a platue and wants to improve.
We run these days on the 1st Tuesday of every month.
These courses are limited to 6 people and are very popular,
therefore early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Brush-up your driven shooting for the coming season. Your day will consist of a brief talk on gun handling and safety, dress and etiquette in the field. This will be followed by a day's shooting simulated driven grouse, partridge and pheasant.
Not been on a formal driven day before? - this course would be ideal to answer all your questions.
Also an ideal day for your syndicate or for the person who has gone off-form.
This day is for parties but we will be happy to take individual bookings to make up a group.
Half-day - £ 65 *
Full-day - £129 *
Ladies Courses
We specialise in teaching ladies to shoot in a relaxed and friendly environment, within the comfort of our all-weather stands.

Have-a-Go
Always wanted to try clay-shooting? Then why not join us on one of our Have-A-Go-Days?
Come and be our guest on the first Saturday of every month.
You will get 25 cartridges, 25 clays, use of a shotgun, all safety equipment and half-an-hour with an instructor.
Ladies and teenagers are particularly welcome (minimum age 12 yrs) - ring us to book your place

Gun Fitting
Gun fit is an important part of improving your shooting. Our hour-long gun fitting service will make all the difference to your overall improvements.
