We are currently looking for someone to join our team here at The Oxford Gun Company, working in the retail side of the business in our shop, running the clothing and accessories, and the clothing website, as well as being front-of-house for all our customers.
The role will include looking after clients in the shop and on the shooting grounds, managing customers` clothing and accessories needs.
The applicant must have a keen interest in shooting and other country pursuits and be able to work as part of our enthusiastic and passionate team!

A full day of Clay Shooting Instruction with our professional instructors. Clays, cartridges, use of a gun, instruction and refreshments are all included in a special young shots price.
The day starts about 9:30am with a brief introduction in the shop, you will then shoot through the morning with a break for refreshments, lunch will be at approximately 1pm with an educational video which will be followed by an afternoon of more challenging targets.
Throughout the course we will work on improving your gun mounting, basic technique and different ways to hit those targets that get away!!! The day will then end at 4:30pm
The top two shots from each group are entered into a final on the 31st where there will be the chance to win some great shooting kit!

Over 600 people joined us for our Open Day, with many new people trying our great sport of clay shooting, along with other country sports - which is what the day was all about!
We`re proud to say that our Schools Challenge Academy students won many of the prizes - a great achievement, and congratulations to all our winners!
We`d like to thank everyone who came along and supported us, and thank our great team for all their hard work running up to the day, and for making the day such a great success. Our Sponsors have been fantastic - the day wouldn`t be possible without you, so thank you so much for all your help and support!
